Our personalized, playful, and inquisitive project-based learning developed collaboratively with our partners in industry combines the fun of summer camp with the excitement of learning new things.
This one-of-a-kind experience introduces kids to everything from Treehouse Architecture to Creating a Hit Song. They’ll form authentic connections with clever kids from around the world who share their interests.

Do something you love. Work with real animals and models alongside professional veterinarians and technicians. You’’ll learn to diagnose diseases, check vital signs, suture wounds, and more. Visit wildlife centers, animal clinics, and rehabilitation centers, and have summer fun—from outdoor movie nights to dance parties and spa days.

EXPLO is a creative, immersive, and personalized summer enrichment program. It’s a perfect place for clever, curious students to connect their passions with academic growth and social emotional development.
Help them find what excites them—from Fashion Illustration and Sports + Society to Codebreaking and Digital Music Production. They’ll find it at EXPLO. And if they aren’t sure yet, that’s okay too! They’ll have the freedom to choose activities they’re actually into—and try new things in a judgment-free zone.

Medical Specialties
Step into the life of a doctor
Sarah Lawrence College Greater NYC area 2 weeks Overnight program
Do your favorite thing. Work with medical professionals from top hospitals, practices, and simulation labs. You’ll build skills from suturing and intubation to starting an IV and reading an X-ray. Step into the life of a doctor and make rounds through specialties such as internal medicine, trauma care, cardiology, and pathology. You’ll also meet new friends from around the world and have summer fun.

Students in grades 10-12 get the real deal in our immersive and experiential learning pre-college programs. They’ll gain real life experience instead of just imagining how things work from behind a desk—pitch business ideas to a panel of executives, develop strategies for social change alongside legal experts, test biomedical prototypes for laboratory application, or learn the business of acting in a masterclass with an industry insider—all of this and more awaits them.

Our summer programs for high school students open up a broad set of workshops and electives to help them decide what they want to study and reveal their path forward, from 3D Animation for Game Design to Law + Social Movements and beyond.
Option 2: EXPLO Career Concentrations
Put students in the driver’s seat to a future they can be excited about. Students will select one area of focus they want to make a real impact in and get full immersion with industry experts, and work on current industry challenges—while also having the option of earning college credit.

Connect students to a study abroad programme within a safe and beautiful setting across one of three prestigious college campuses. All EXPLO programmes have dedicated spaces just for our students where they flourish in a safe and caring environment. Residential advisors help make sure students have a sense of belonging at EXPLO. We provide support for parents in planning practical matters, and attendance is streamlined, as international students only need a tourist visa for EXPLO programmes. We provide tourist visa application support and provide personalized airport pickups and drop-offs to keep students safe the entire time they’re with us.
